- Salary: £35,200 per annum
- Location: SE25 5EW
- Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality fresh food for a busy retail operation, serving approximately 450 covers per day.
- Support the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Take ownership of a designated section, ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and served efficiently during busy service periods.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, and minimising food waste to achieve cost targets.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards, ensuring all due diligence records are completed accurately.
- Train and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging continuous development within the kitchen team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills to meet service demands and deadlines.
- Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials while maintaining retail food trends and customer expectations.
- Bring previous Chef de Partie experience, a passion for cooking and learning, strong food preparation knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a positive team-focused approach.
