Role Purpose

This role will be responsible for Danone’s RGM strategy for the Dairy category covering the UK & Irish markets. Providing key insights and recommendations across all RGM levers, by leveraging data analytics and translating them into opportunities to maximise top-line growth and profitability.

Scope

  • Responsible for setting the RGM strategy for the category
  • Delivery manager for 1x Revenue Growth Manager
  • Collaborates with x-functional teams to lead the RGM strategy for all channels and markets for the category and ensures the relevant interdependencies are aligned

Impact

  • Short-Med term: shares regular insight and recommendations with Sales & Marketing on opportunities across all RGM levers – supporting monthly business planning cycle when required
  • Mid/Long Term: lead RGM strategy on category through Annual Operating Plan & Strat Plan, builds and cascade through the business including key RGM topics

Key Activities

  • Pack Price Architecture: Drives value for Danone, our customers and shoppers through making insight led recommendations on our pack and pricing strategy across all Danone brands to optimize OBPPC (Occasion, Brand, Pack, Price and Channel)
  • Mix & Portfolio Management: Identify and leverage opportunities to optimize our mix by pack/channel/customer, to drive profitable growth for Danone & customers
  • Trade Terms: Works in partnership with the customer teams to create value for Danone, customers and shoppers through optimizing our trade terms investment
  • Promotional Effectiveness: Work in partnership with the sales and marketing teams to create value for Danone, customers and shoppers through optimizing the effectiveness of our promotions
  • Strategy: Leading the creation and management of the key RGM levers in the category, ensuring they are driving profitable growth for Danone and our retailers
  • Team Engagement & Development: Ensures we inspire customer & marketing teams to deliver across all RGM levers

About you

We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills

  • Leadership: A self starter who is passionate about finding growth opportunities
  • Functional: Experience of driving profitable growth initiatives across different revenue levers as part of a RGM/Commercial strategy function

Salary Bracket

£70,000-£85,000 + bonus and benefits
