Revit / CAD Design Engineer
📍 Manchester (Trafford Park)
Remuneration & Working Arrangements
- Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE or £35–£45/hr Outside IR35

About the Role
The UK water sector is entering a groundbreaking investment period, with billions of pounds dedicated to enhancing environmental performance, strengthening network resilience, and reducing storm overflows. An established civil engineering consultancy is seeking to bolster its team with a Revit / CAD Design Engineer to support critical wastewater infrastructure projects across the North West.
This opportunity offers meaningful contributions to national water investment programmes, providing the chance to work on permanent or Outside IR35 contract roles on schemes that transform critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital role in:
- Designing and delivering wastewater infrastructure projects
- Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to create effective engineering solutions
- Contributing to projects such as:
- Upgrades to wastewater treatment works
- Pumped storm storage schemes
- Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) improvements
- New-build pumping stations
- Environmental compliance programmes

- Wastewater Treatment Works upgrades

Requirements
Essential
- Civil Engineering design experience in infrastructure or utilities sectors
- Proven experience working within the UK’s regulated water industry
- Strong technical design and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in collaborative teamwork within multidisciplinary environments
- Ability to manage workloads while delivering against project deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable
- Prior experience with Revit, CAD, or related 3D modelling
- Knowledge of stormwater management systems, pumping technologies, or CSO compliance
