Senior Reward Business Partner - (12 Month FTC)

Senior Reward Business Partner – 12-month FTC

About us

Halfords is on a journey - building the future of motoring and cycling and looking for people who want to help shape what comes next. We’re a place for co‑creators: people who want to make a real impact, take ownership and be part of something that’s still evolving.

As the UK’s leading retailer of motoring and cycling products, we’re supported by one of the country’s largest independent vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair networks through Halfords Autocentres. This breadth gives us a strong, stable foundation - and the freedom to keep innovating and growing.

That means real variety for our colleagues, along with the opportunity to learn, stretch and develop as the business moves forward. Whatever your role, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering exceptional service - using your expertise to solve problems, guide customers and help keep the nation moving with confidence.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Reward Business Partner to join us on a 12-month FTC to support the transformation of Reward across select business areas. This is a high-impact role combining deep compensation expertise with strong commercial acumen, where you’ll partner closely with operational leaders and finance to design and deliver competitive, performance-led reward frameworks. Operating in a complex and talent-scarce market, you’ll help shape a proposition that attracts, retains, and motivates colleagues while aligning closely to business outcomes.

You’ll lead the development of fair and market-aligned pay structures, including base salary, incentives and bonus frameworks, supported by robust benchmarking and analysis. Working collaboratively with People Business Partners and stakeholders, you’ll bring clarity, structure and innovation to reward, helping to build sustainable and competitive offerings across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
