Senior RF Design Engineer

Cambridge | £60,000 - £90,000 + Benefits | Sponsorship Available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for RF Engineers at multiple levels to join a growing engineering organisation developing advanced RF and microwave technology for telecommunications, aerospace, defence and next-generation communications applications.

Working within a highly experienced team and supported by state-of-the-art design, manufacturing and test facilities, you'll play a key role in the development of innovative RF and microwave products from concept through to production.

Whether you're an experienced RF Design Engineer looking to take the next step or a Principal-level Engineer seeking greater technical influence, there are opportunities available to match your experience and career ambitions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing RF and microwave circuits, modules and subsystems.
  • Performing RF simulation, modelling and analysis.
  • Supporting product development from concept, prototyping and verification through to manufacture.
  • Conducting system line-up, performance and tolerance analysis.
  • Working closely with mechanical, electronics, manufacturing and test teams.
  • Supporting design reviews, technical investigations and product improvement activities.
  • Contributing to the development of next-generation communications and defence technologies.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring opportunities for more senior-level positions.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree-qualified in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, RF & Microwave Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in RF, microwave or mmWave design and development.
  • Knowledge of RF simulation and design tools such as ADS, Microwave Office, CST, HFSS, EMPro or similar.
  • Experience working on amplifiers, filters, transceivers, antennas, RF front-ends, modules or complete RF systems.
