I’m supporting a long-standing client based near Leeds, a leading RF/microwave technology manufacturer working across space, defence, high-reliability communications and next-generation connectivity hardware. They’re scaling quickly, with record commercial growth and major programme wins across their filter, mmWave and subsystem product lines.

They’re now looking to bring in a Senior RF Filter Engineer to take ownership of RF/microwave filter design projects from concept through to delivery. This Senior RF Filter Engineer will sit within their core RF/microwave engineering group, focusing on advanced filter design, NPI support and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations and customer-facing functions.

Role Overview – Senior RF Filter Engineer

You’ll lead the design, simulation, prototyping, tuning, verification and release of high-performance RF/microwave filters and filter-based subsystems, supporting both R&D activity and customer programmes. The focus is on delivering technically strong, manufacturable designs that meet performance, cost and schedule targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
