Senior Risk Analyst - Helensburgh
Working Pattern: Hybrid (1 day per week on site)
Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to join the team.

About The Role
The Senior Risk Analyst provides specialist risk management support to the Asset Compliance Lead, taking ownership of the Infrastructure Risk Register and ensuring infrastructure risks are proactively identified, assessed, monitored, managed, and reported effectively.
The role provides expert analysis and oversight of infrastructure risk, coordinating risk reviews with key stakeholders, challenging risk assessments, driving effective mitigation strategies, maintaining robust risk data, and supporting risk governance, assurance, and decision-making activities.

Key Deliverables
- Owns and provides strategic oversight of the Infrastructure Risk Register, ensuring risks are accurately identified, assessed, prioritised, monitored, and regularly reviewed in line with organisational risk management requirements.
- Leads and facilitates risk reviews with relevant stakeholders, ensuring risks are appropriately challenged, accurately assessed, and supported by effective and proportionate mitigation actions.
- Provides assurance on the progress, ownership, and effectiveness of risk actions, ensuring risks are actively managed and updates are accurately reflected within the Risk Register.
- Ensures the Infrastructure Risk Register remains aligned with the wider organisational risk management framework, maintaining consistent risk categorisation, escalation routes, governance standards, and reporting requirements.
- Produces high-quality risk reports, management summaries, and trend analysis to provide clear insight into the infrastructure risk profile and support effective leadership decision-making.
- Provides expert advice and guidance on risk management processes, tools, and reporting practices, supporting the continual improvement of risk maturity across infrastructure functions.
- Identifies, analyses, and escalates significant, complex, or emerging risks through appropriate governance channels, ensuring timely intervention and informed decision-making.
- Supports the development and implementation of risk management improvements, promoting a proactive risk culture and consistent application of risk management principles across the organisation.

Essential Key Requirements / Qualifications:
- Significant experience in risk management and risk analysis.
- Experience managing and maintaining risk registers within complex environments.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, mitigation planning, and risk governance.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and providing risk insight to support decision-making.
- Infrastructure experience.
Desirable
- Experience of working in highly regulated environments.
- Experience within the nuclear, defence, engineering, or critical infrastructure sectors.
