Edenbrook are partnering with a rapidly growing Lloyd's Managing Agent on a Senior Risk Analyst opportunity.

Core Responsibilities:

Risk Governance & Reporting

  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework.
  • Act as the business lead for the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system.
  • Support the Emerging Risks Framework and related reporting.
  • Produce high-quality risk reporting, including committee and regulatory reports.
  • Maintain and enhance risk management information (MI) dashboards.
  • Support governance aspects of internal model validation where applicable.

Risk Identification & Assessment

  • Coordinate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) across the business.
  • Facilitate risk workshops and stakeholder meetings.
  • Conduct deep dives into material and emerging risks.
  • Support operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing.
  • Monitor and assess emerging risks and their potential impacts.

Regulatory Risk Management

  • Support compliance with regulatory risk management requirements.
  • Assist with regulatory submissions and reporting.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business functions to embed effective risk management practices.
  • Review key controls with business owners and provide constructive challenge.
  • Support risk committees, governance forums and risk training initiatives.
  • Promote a positive and proactive risk culture across the organisation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen risk processes and controls.
  • Support improvements to risk reporting, data quality and automation.
  • Contribute to risk awareness initiatives and broader ERM projects.

Team Contribution

  • Work collaboratively within the Risk team to deliver priorities and support colleagues as required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Enterprise Risk Management within insurance
  • Good understanding of operational and enterprise risk management principles.
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements, including PRA, FCA and/or Lloyd's expectations.
  • Experience using risk management systems and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
