Role Overview
This position plays an important role in evaluating the effectiveness of controls within Planet's organisation across its functions, primarily focussed on the Regulated entities within the Group.
The position will standardise and enhance our control testing methodology and practices within the Group, as well as evaluating control design and validation of the operating effectiveness of controls in mitigating, monitoring, and reporting risk throughout the organization. Identify opportunities to improve and streamline control testing and reporting.

What You Will Do
- Standardises and enhances control testing methodologies and practices to ensure meets stakeholder expectations.
- Partners with relevant business units and control owners to document processes and assess the appropriateness and completeness of the key risks and controls identified.
- Controls testing execution including walkthroughs, design, and operating effectiveness testing.
- Escalates and communicates findings from testing to stakeholders.
- Analyses the severity of control deficiencies and their impact.
- Validates and monitors remediation of issues through assessment of the corrective actions performed.
- Compiles, manages, submits and socializes required monthly, quarterly or annual reporting including test results, dashboards and/or testing issue remediation status.
- Supports Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
- Assists with control projects, operational and/or corporate risk initiatives, where directed.
- Assists with the adoption of AI into the role, including testing, reporting and monitoring.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of Accounting, Audit, ITGC or general Controls Testing experience, or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
