About the Role
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to join a leading City law firm in a newly created role. Working closely with the General Counsel and COLP, you'll play a key role in shaping the firm's regulatory and risk framework while advising on a broad range of complex compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise on conflicts of interest, confidentiality, professional conduct, and wider regulatory matters.
- Review client engagement terms, contractual documentation, and outside counsel guidelines to identify and manage risk.
- Manage complaints, regulatory enquiries, and document production requests.
- Draft and maintain policies, procedures, and governance documentation while monitoring legislative and regulatory developments.
- Conduct file reviews and support quality assurance, governance, and compliance projects.
- Provide practical guidance to Partners and Business Services teams while supporting wider Risk & Compliance and AML activities.
About You

- Qualified lawyer with at least 4 years' PQE and experience gained within a law firm Risk & Compliance function or private practice.
- Strong understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
- Experience of AML, sanctions, and data protection would be advantageous, together with a proactive, commercially minded approach, and the ability to work independently.
