About the role:
At NFU Mutual, you’ll join the Risk Division as a Senior Risk Intelligence Analyst, working within the Risk Intelligence Team alongside Model Validation colleagues as part of the Model Risk Team. You’ll help strengthen the way risk information is understood, managed and used by developing data initiatives that support consistent, practical and evidence led decision making.
In this role, you’ll design, build and improve insight-led tools that bring together complex data and turn it into clear, practical outputs. Working closely with stakeholders across the Risk Division to understand their challenges, you’ll shape solutions that are easy to use, and present insight in a way that supports confident decisions and recommendations.
You’ll also play an important role in making sure risks, controls and limitations are clearly understood and appropriately managed. This includes contributing to Model Risk Management activity by supporting second line assurance over the way models are identified, assessed, validated and governed, as well as coaching colleagues and helping build wider capability through training, workshops and clear communication.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford upon Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.
About you:
You’ll bring a blend of technical data capability, sound risk judgement and strong stakeholder skills. You’ll be comfortable working in an agile way, using complex information to shape clear insight and explain what it means in a way that supports practical decisions. You’ll also be confident challenging constructively, coaching others and helping build data confidence across the team and wider division.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
