Physiotherapists – Band 6 Rotation (Home First & Community Children’s Integrated Therapies)
About the Role
We are seeking Physiotherapists to join our Band 6 Rotation, offering a varied and developmental experience in:
- Community Therapy Services (CTS)
- Mental Health Inpatients
- Home First (countywide service spanning social & health care partnerships)
- Community Children’s Integrated Therapies (itumary for schools/homes in Oxford City)
Ideal for Band 6s looking to grow or experienced Band 5s ready for progression. Rotational roles require travel across Oxfordshire, with a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments considered).
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment across multiple settings (community, acute, inpatient).
- Deliver safe reablement and rehabilitation to patients in their own homes.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualised care plans.
- Ensure clear communication, accurate documentation, and effective risk management.
- Support audits, infection control, governance, and service improvements.
- Supervise staff/students; manage KPIs/clinical areas.
- Develop specialist advice, protocols, and training.
- Model evidence-based practice and uphold patient/staff safety.

Service-Specific Commitments
Home First Oxfordshire
- Bridge four services:
- Reablement (short-term support for independence).
- Enhanced Treatment Proteinạc (complex rehabilitation).
- Just One Call (home safety assessments).
- Shared Lives Scheme Mobilisation (care provider mobility support).
Community Children’s Integrated Therapies
- Physiotherapy for children in homes and schools (Oxford City-based).
Requirements
- Full valid UK driving licence and access to a work-appropriate vehicle.
- Experience in community and/or children’s physiotherapy preferable but not mandatory.
- Commitment to diverse, fast-paced clinical environments.
