About the Role
A scalable SaaS organisation is growing its in-house development team and is seeking a senior full-stack Ruby on Rails engineer to lead the next stage of their product journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a fitness tech business used globally and make a meaningful impact.
You will:
- Take full ownership of a complex production platform
- Work closely with the Head of Engineering, CPO, and product team

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance, scalable Rails platform
- Collaborate on AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and deployment workflows
- Leverage Vue.js (or similar) for full-stack development
- Optimise PostgreSQL databases and implement robust API design & testing
Required Skills
- Proven Ruby on Rails expertise (at a senior level)
- Full-stack capability (Rails frontend + backend)
- Experience with:
- Vue.js or a similar framework
- PostgreSQL architecture
- API development & testing
- AWS infrastructure
- Docker and containerisation
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

Bonus Considerations
Ideal if you have experience with:
- Payments systems (e.g., Stripe or alternative gateways)
Work Arrangements
- Fully remote (with 1x mandatory visit per month to London)
- Hybrid working option available if preferred
