We are recruiting for a Senior SHE Advisor to join us here at Octavius.

Framework:

  • Eastern Routes Partnership (ERP) Framework for Network Rail's Eastern Region, Lot 4a - Distribution and Plant (Generalist)
  • North-West and Central (NW&C) Capital Delivery Framework for Major Projects

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK. At Octavius, we believe that safety, health, and environmental excellence are the foundation of everything we do. As we continue to grow and take on exciting new infrastructure projects, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior SHE Advisor to help us uphold and elevate our SHE standards across the business.

You'll be working on… (what your role and responsibility is)

As a Senior SHE Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our safety-first culture across a range of civil engineering and rail infrastructure projects. You'll provide expert guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with SHE legislation and best practices. From conducting site inspections and audits to delivering training and promoting behavioural safety, your work will directly contribute to the wellbeing of our people and the success of our projects.

A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as Network Rail. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll be working closely with project managers, engineers, and operational teams to embed a proactive SHE culture across all levels of the organisation.

You'll Bring… (your Wealth Of Experience & Qualifications)

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Membership of IOSH
  • Proven experience in a SHE role within the rail sector
  • Strong knowledge of UK SHE legislation and industry best practices
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to lead by example
