Senior Sales Account Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Edgbaston Cricket Stadium, Birmingham (minimum 3 office days; up to 2 home working days)

As a Sales Account Manager, based at the iconic Edgbaston Cricket Stadium, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base, fostering existing relationships, and contributing to the success of Keith Prowse in the dynamic landscape of high-profile events.

Responsibilities

You’ll be:

  • Exciting the hospitality market by promoting our innovative core hospitality products with genuine enthusiasm.
  • Exploring growth opportunities by identifying potential in new accounts, aiming to reach new heights for our brand.
  • Proactively sourcing and winning new business accounts.
  • Fostering synergy across the Keith Prowse portfolio through thoughtful cross-selling, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Striving not only to meet but surpass both annual and event-specific sales targets, making every match a success.
  • Maintaining a steady sales pace, staying ahead while setting a standard of excellence.
  • Staying abreast of campaign activity, using the latest insights to keep Keith Prowse relevant in the market.
  • Nurturing client loyalty through strong relationships, ensuring our existing connections remain robust.
  • Unlocking revenue potential by utilising the KP database and skillfully navigating the sales process.
  • Bringing products to life through engaging appointments and customer show rounds, creating memorable experiences for new and existing clients.
  • Exceeding individual and team KPIs through stellar performance across the sales process.
  • Presenting the diverse KP inventory to both new and existing customers, showcasing the range of possibilities.
  • Cultivating a solid sales pipeline, managing it effectively for consistent growth.
  • Meticulously logging all sales activities within the CRM system, maintaining high standards of efficiency and organisation.
  • Staying informed on market intelligence and competitor activity, providing valuable insights to keep us well-informed.
  • Driving new business initiatives by implementing creative strategies to capture market interest.
  • Optimising marketing suites and entertaining opportunities to introduce and elevate new products.

Requirements

You’ll have:

  • A blend of maturity and confidence, embodying a poised and assured presence.
  • Proven track record of thriving in a commission-based sales environment, showcasing your ability to deliver results.
  • A natural and enthusiastic networker, possessing the drive and ambition to uncover promising sales prospects.
  • Strong communication skills that resonate across all levels, facilitating seamless interactions.
  • Seasoned customer relationship manager with compelling evidence to substantiate your expertise in fostering lasting client connections.
  • Proficiency in interpersonal skills, demonstrating expertise in effective questioning and active listening.
  • Innately results-driven, deriving motivation from pursuing and achieving targets.
  • Display acute commercial awareness, staying attuned to market dynamics and trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably experienced with Microsoft Dynamics, showcasing your technological prowess.
  • A ability to dazzle and engage clients on event days, using your entertaining and personable touch to make each encounter memorable.
