Senior Sales & Purchasing Manager

Mobile Phones, Tablets & Consumer Electronics

Location: Remote / Flexible Employment Type: Contract or Commission-Only Earnings: Up to 50% Commission

iMint ([link](not provided)) is a global buy-back, processor and distributor of mobile phones, tablets, and consumer electronics. We specialise in the purchase and sale of both new and used devices worldwide, handling significant volumes across all grades, including Grade A+, A, B, C, D and E stock.

Due to continued growth and the recent promotion of our Sales & Purchasing Manager, we are now seeking an experienced industry professional to join our team.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an individual with an established reputation and network within the mobile phone and consumer electronics industry. We are looking for someone who can:

The Opportunity

This is a highly entrepreneurial role suited to a commercially driven professional who thrives on:

  • Building relationships
  • Sourcing stock
  • Securing customers
  • Closing deals

Key Focus Area

You will take responsibility for both purchasing and sales activities, leveraging your industry network to:

  • Identify profitable opportunities
  • Drive trading volumes across global markets

For the right candidate, this represents a significant earning opportunity with commission rates of up to 50%.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase mobile phones, tablets, and consumer electronics from global suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with:
    • Wholesalers
    • Distributors
    • Retailers
    • Recyclers
    • Insurers
    • Trade-in companies
    • Other industry partners
  • Sell inventory to existing and new customers across international markets.
  • Negotiate pricing, volumes, and commercial terms to maximise profitability.
  • Manage transactions from initial enquiry through completion.
  • Identify new trading opportunities and market trends.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of buying and selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
  • Represent iMint professionally within the global mobile device and consumer electronics marketplace.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

✅ Proven experience buying and selling mobile phones, tablets, or consumer electronics. ✅ Strong and active network of industry contacts (suppliers and customers). ✅ Strong understanding of used device grading (A+, A, B, C, D and E) and their market values. ✅ Experience trading both used and new stock. ✅ Demonstrable track record of generating profitable trading opportunities. ✅ Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills. ✅ Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently. ✅ Ability to generate business and close deals with minimal supervision.

Highly Desirable

♦ Experience within international wholesale distribution. ♦ Existing relationships with:

  • Major distributors, retailers, recyclers, carriers, insurers
  • Refurbishment businesses
  • Trade-in providers ♦ Proven track record of generating substantial monthly trading volumes. ♦ Knowledge of export markets and international logistics.
