Senior Sales Associate - Edinburgh Boutique
Reports To: Store Manager

Job Purpose
As a Senior Sales Associate, you are a key player on the boutique team—combining deep product knowledge, exceptional client service, and leadership presence to support both customer experience and team performance. You will serve as a role model on the sales floor by delivering exceptional client service, meeting and exceeding personal sales goals, and supporting junior staff with day-to-day selling and service standards. The Senior Sales Associate acts as a product expert and clienteling ambassador, helping to drive performance and uphold Longchamp’s luxury values.

Client Service & Sales Leadership
- Deliver world-class service to each client, providing tailored styling advice and storytelling around Longchamp’s heritage and product craftsmanship
- Actively drive personal sales and assist others in achieving team goals
- Support CRM initiatives by cultivating long-term relationships and managing follow-ups
- Resolve client issues with professionalism and sensitivity
Team Mentoring & Support
- Serve as a coach and mentor for junior Sales Associates during floor operations
- Provide peer-to-peer training on product knowledge and selling techniques
- Help reinforce service protocols and team standards, particularly during peak periods
- Support management in daily team briefings and onboarding of new employees
Product & Brand Expertise
- Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of collections, materials, and product care
- Stay informed on current fashion trends and competitive market activity
- Share feedback on product performance and customer preferences with leadership
Boutique Operations
- Support store operations including stock handling, delivery processing, and replenishment
- Perform POS transactions with speed and accuracy
- Maintain floor presentation and cleanliness throughout the shift
- Follow all loss prevention and compliance procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in premium or luxury retail, preferably in a leadership or mentorship role
- Strong customer service and sales acumen
- Advanced product knowledge and presentation ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- POS and inventory system proficiency
- Fluent in English; other languages a plus

- Units per Transaction (UPT) and Average Transaction Value (ATV)

- Team support contribution (e.g. mentoring, shift leadership)
- Client satisfaction and mystery shopper feedback
- Visual compliance and operational excellence
