Senior Sales Associate – Coach (EU Location)

About the Role

The Senior Sales Associate will play a key role in driving store performance through sales excellence, exceptional customer service, and brand ambassadorship. You’ll meet individual and team goals while embodying Coach’s inclusive, courageous spirit and representing the brand with pride. This role requires strong customer engagement, sales acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Contribute to store sales goals in productivity, service, and revenue by leveraging Coach’s proprietary selling techniques and training.
  • Customer Experience Ambassador:
    • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, ensuring every customer interaction exceeds expectations.
    • Anticipate and fulfil customer needs, from in-store to virtual and live-stream shopping experiences.
    • Foster loyalty through clienteling (customer data acquisition) and targeted marketing communications.
  • Multichannel Sales Excellence:
    • Model omnichannel selling practices, including virtual consultations and virtual fitting services.
    • Collaborate with the social selling team to create engaging short videos (e.g., product demos) for platforms like Instagram Live or Facebook Live.
  • Team & Culture Driver:
    • Act as a positive team role model, encouraging collaboration and a supportive, inclusive culture where everyone feels valued.
    • Champion Coach’s core values and drive customer-centric initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience: Preference for luxury/premium retail management experience, though a combination of education and relevant retail sales experience will be considered.
  • Market Awareness: Current knowledge of fashion trends, competitor positioning, and social media influences.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Operating POS systems (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS), walkie-talkies, and ability to read price/release sheets.
    • Basic computer and digital tools (e.g., editing software for social media content).
  • Customer Interaction: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
  • Physical Demands: Moderate lifting (stockroom tasks), ability to climb on displays, and navigate sales floors efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, evenings, and peak retail seasons.
  • Social Media Savvy: Understanding of trends on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, with enthusiasm for social selling techniques.
  • Language Skills: Strong English proficiency (required for EU roles).

Compensation

Base salary range for full-time roles: £29,120.00–£32,000.00 aligns with standard EU pay guidelines. Part-time compensation is prorated to reflect contracted hours. Actual pay decisions are data-driven and objective.
