Senior Sales Associate UK, IE & Nordics
Senior Sales Associate
Why we need this role
We are strengthening support for our largest and most complex global customers by introducing a Senior Sales Associate role. This role focuses on providing deep commercial, operational, and stakeholder support to a small number of top-tier, high-value accounts, partnering closely with Account Executives (AEs) to deliver consistent revenue growth, strong customer outcomes, and a best-in-class customer experience.
The Senior Sales Associate:
- Manages increased complexity, scale, and senior-level engagement.
- Serves as an individual contributor (no people management or hierarchical responsibility over Sales Associates).
- Focuses on:
- Supporting the AE in managing large, global customers
- Driving high-value commercial activities
- Engaging with senior stakeholders and internal leadership
- Ensuring rigorous execution across renewals, rerates, and transactional activity for strategic accounts
This role suits a commercially experienced sales professional thriving in complex customer environments and operating as a trusted partner to customers and AEs.
What you will do
Strategic Customer Engagement & Governance
- Partner closely with the AE to manage a small portfolio of Colt’s most strategic and complex accounts.
- Act as a senior commercial contact, building strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and internal teams.
- Lead and contribute to customer governance (service reviews, operational forums, commercial touchpoints).
- Support AE-led engagements (QBRs, account planning, executive sessions).
- Drive stakeholder engagement planning for alignment and effective communication.
- Anticipate customer risks, dependencies, and commercial opportunities in complex, multi-national account environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
