Senior Sales Consultant

Senior Sales Consultant – Bluewater Store (11-Month Fixed Term, 30 Hours/Week)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Consultant for our Bluewater Store on an 11-month fixed-term contract, working 30 hours per week.


About the Role

As a key member of the management team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations of the sales floor
  • Motivating and coaching the team to meet store sales targets and KPIs
  • Serving as a brand ambassador, embodying best-practice customer service principles
  • Providing detailed product knowledge to customers and ensuring the team does so
  • Delivering personalised service through fragrance consultations or hand & arm massages
  • Supporting with stock management, store cleaning, and replenishment tasks

This role blends leadership, mentorship, and hands-on customer engagement to ensure a seamless and immersive experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive team performance in alignment with store-wide goals
  • Train and develop staff to exceed customer service standards and sales targets
  • Maintain excellent game face, merchandising, and store presentation
  • Oversee operational duties, including stock control, floor care, and back-office logistics
  • Collaborate with management to adapt to evolving customer trends and retail challenges
  • Model brand unwavering standards and high grooming excellence

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ retail experience, with preference for supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to motivate, influence, and coach teams towards targets
  • Exceptional sales and communication skills
  • Passion for luxury and cosmetic products, with an eye for detail
  • High standards of personal grooming, presentation, and professionalism
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet business demands
  • Experience with sensorial retail experiences (e.g., consultations, personalised services) is advantageous
