Senior Sales Director

Senior Sales Director – Private Funds Clearinghouse

at Sonata One

Sonata One is a rapidly scaling, regulated fund services and technology (fintech) business, making waves as The Private Funds Clearinghouse. We connect over 53,000 investors with 6,500 funds and 180 fund managers globally, reshaping the private markets investment experience. Our mission is to harmonise the end-to-end investment journey—from fund selection and subscription to settlement and reporting—through a single, regulated platform. Investors gain a seamless, one-and-done experience underpinned by a globally compliant KYC passport and 24/5 support, while fund managers benefit from faster capital raises, lower costs, and broader investor access.

Founded in 2015, Sonata One operates across eight global locations, including the US, UK, Luxembourg, Guernsey, South Africa, and Mauritius. We thrive as #OneGlobalThread, embodying core values like entrepreneurial tenacity, collaborative leadership, and relentless problem-solving. Now, we’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Sales Director to drive our expansion globally.

Position Overview

We’re recruiting a senior, network-led commercial professional responsible for forging critical partnerships with top-tier General Partners (GPs) and broadening our client base to include:

  • Private credit platforms
  • Real asset managers
  • Venture capital firms
  • Secondaries investors
  • Fund-of-funds platforms

This is not a conventional sales role. You’ll operate as a strategic "hunter", leveraging deep private markets expertise to engage economic and technical buyers, including:

  • Group Financial Controllers
  • CFOs
  • Finance Directors
  • Heads of Operations
  • Investor Relations & Finance Transformation leaders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
