With ambitious expansion plans across Europe and North America, they are now hiring their first dedicated Sales Engineer to establish a best-in-class pre-sales function and play a key role in the company's continued growth.

Role:
- Becoming the company's first dedicated Sales Engineer, helping build the pre-sales function from the ground up.
- Partnering closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, leading technical discovery, solution design and tailored product demonstrations.
- Designing highly customised demonstrations based on each customer's procurement processes, ERP landscape and technical environment.
- Acting as the technical lead throughout enterprise sales cycles, helping customers understand how the platform integrates with their existing technology stack.
- Building repeatable demo environments, playbooks and customer-facing assets that improve consistency and increase win rates.
- Supporting Account Executives with business cases, technical validation and solution positioning across complex enterprise opportunities.
- Working closely with Sales Operations and Customer Success to ensure a seamless transition from signed customer through to implementation.
- Acting as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to Product and Engineering to help shape future product development.
- Helping establish a scalable Sales Engineering function capable of supporting the company's continued growth across EMEA and North America.

Requirements:
- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant or Pre-Sales Consultant within an enterprise B2B SaaS business, with at least 2 years working on enterprise deals.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles involving technical discovery, solution design and tailored product demonstrations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software integrations, ideally involving ERP, procurement, finance or HRIS platforms.
- Experience creating customised demonstrations, technical assets and repeatable pre-sales playbooks.
- Comfortable translating technical capabilities into clear commercial value for both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to build credibility with senior finance, procurement and technology leaders.
- Commercial mindset with a passion for helping enterprise sales teams win larger and more strategic opportunities.
- Comfortable operating in a scaling business where you'll have the opportunity to define processes and build a new function.
- Previous experience within procurement software, finance automation, AP automation or adjacent enterprise software would be highly advantageous.
- Exposure to APIs, integrations or scripting languages such as Python would be beneficial, but deep software engineering experience is not required.
