The Opportunity
As a Senior Sales Executive, you'll own new business development across the accountancy sector, managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with senior decision-makers. If you're a driven, consultative seller with a strong B2B SaaS track record, this is where you make your mark.
What will you do?
- Lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Consistently exceed ambitious KPIs and revenue targets, providing comprehensive reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities, managing complex sales cycles from prospecting through to closure
- Develop innovative approaches to lead generation and market penetration, identifying untapped opportunities within the accountancy sector
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key decision-makers and C-level executives in target accounts
- Present and demonstrate Bright's software solutions to prospective clients, articulating complex value propositions with impact
- Represent Bright at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions, positioning the company as a thought leader
- Champion product knowledge across the sales function, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing customer base
- Contribute to sales forecasting, territory planning, and go-to-market strategy development
- Mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing expertise and best practices to elevate team performance

What are we looking for?
- 5+ years' experience in B2B software sales, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets in a senior capacity
- Demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Deep understanding of digital accountancy technology, SaaS business models, AI developments and industry developments
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and engage effectively with senior decision-makers and C-suite executives
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to command attention in high-stakes situations
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Established network within the accountancy or professional services sector is highly desirable
