The Role
UK-based new business hunter - the first dedicated sales hire in this market, remote with occasional European travel

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Own the top of the funnel: originate and qualify new logo opportunities across financial markets, working alongside a CRO who closes and a CEO who leads pre-sales
- Sell into Operations, Risk and C-level buyers; typical first-year deals are six figures recurring plus implementation, with strong upsell patterns thereafter
- Shape the UK go-to-market from the ground up, with a path to US expansion for the right person
About You
- A proven new logo hunter
- Track record selling complex technology into financial services, ideally with a sell-side network; buy-side reach a bonus
- Credible in front of senior Operations, Risk and trading stakeholders
- AI or fintech sales experience helpful, but you won't be expected to be the technical expert
- Comfortable in a small, high-autonomy environment where your pipeline is visible and valued
