Senior Sales Executive

Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 plus performance bonus
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
Location: Outskirts of Newcastle City Centre - Free parking available
The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

About The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Senior Sales Executive. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business, developing client relationships, and securing high-value contracts.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, attending client meetings, delivering presentations, and converting prospects into long-term customers. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and wider team to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and lead generation activities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Attend meetings with clients both in person and via Microsoft Teams.
  • Deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and business development objectives.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate value to clients.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on opportunities and forecasts.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within target sectors.
  • Ensure CRM systems and sales records are maintained accurately and up to date.
  • Represent the business professionally at industry events, networking meetings, and exhibitions where required.

Skills And Experience

We are keen to support the development of the right individual; however, applicants should already demonstrate the following:

  • Proven success within a business-to-business sales role.
  • Experience managing the full sales process from lead generation through to closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Full UK driving licence.
