As an OCI Growth Sales Representative, you'll be at the forefront of this transformation—helping customers modernise their infrastructure, embrace AI, and unlock new possibilities with Oracle Cloud.
Role Overview
As an OCI Growth Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) business by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities across enterprise accounts. This is a true hunter role, requiring a proactive approach to prospecting, relationship building, and executing complex enterprise sales cycles. You will collaborate with technical specialists, partners, and internal stakeholders to help customers modernise their IT infrastructure and accelerate cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and close net new OCI business through proactive prospecting and pipeline development.
- Build and execute territory and account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop relationships across customer organizations, from C-level executives to technical and operational stakeholders.
- Prospect through cold calling, email, social selling, and networking, with a strong emphasis on outbound phone engagement.
- Lead complex enterprise sales opportunities using a consultative, solution-selling approach.
- Apply structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC to qualify opportunities and manage sales execution.
- Position Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AI, data platform, and cloud-native solutions against competitive offerings.
- Work closely with Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Partners, and other Oracle specialists to deliver winning customer outcomes.
- Lead virtual account teams and coordinate supporting resources throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Oracle CRM tools.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings and cloud consumption targets.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A proven track record as a new business hunter with consistent quota achievement.
- A challenger sales mentality, capable of constructively influencing customer thinking and driving change.
- Strong enterprise sales experience with the ability to engage confidently at both executive and technical levels.
- Experience selling directly to enterprise customers as well as through channel and strategic partners.
- Excellent prospecting skills, including outbound phone sales, email campaigns, and social selling.
- Strong solution-selling capabilities with experience applying MEDDICC or similar sales methodologies.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across internal teams.
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills to bring together cross-functional Oracle resources throughout the sales process.
- Willingness to spend significant time with customers, typically three days per week in the field, working across customer sites and Oracle offices such as TVP (Reading) and Moorgate (London).
