Senior Sales Executive (Player Manager)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive (Player Manager) to drive new business growth while supporting a small team of Sales Executives.

This is a player-manager role, where you'll spend most of your time building your own pipeline, winning new business, and closing deals across international markets. Alongside your individual contribution, you'll coach and support the team, helping them improve performance and achieve their targets.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing deals.
  • Build and manage your own pipeline across international markets.
  • Consistently exceed individual revenue targets.
  • Coach and support a team of four Sales Executives through:
    • Regular feedback
    • Deal reviews
    • Mentoring
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities, building relationships with key decision makers.
  • Tailor proposals and presentations to meet each prospect's needs.
  • Work closely with the Growth team to improve commercial performance and sales strategy.
  • Represent Houst at exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with inbound and outbound sales or a high-volume commercial environment.
  • Strong track record as an individual sales performer, with the credibility to lead from the front.
  • Experience in:
    • Managing, coaching and developing a small team to deliver against targets.
    • Working with performance data, sales metrics, and conversion funnels.
  • Ability to:
    • Present data and insights in a coherent, commercially meaningful way.
    • Communicate effectively—both verbal and written.
    • Organise tasks with strong attention to detail.
    • Work cross-functionally with regional teams, marketing, and wider commercial stakeholders.
    • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Possess a positive, driven, and highly accountable mindset, with the energy to motivate others.

Ideal Candidates Might Also Have:

  • Experience in property, travel, hospitality, marketplace, or tech-enabled service businesses. -_work in an international or multi-market sales environment.
  • Improving inbound lead conversion and sales process performance.
  • A passion for delivering a best-in-class customer experience alongside strong commercial results.
