Senior Sales Executive, Product Stewardship Software

Job Description

UL Solutions is hiring a Senior Sales Executive (Product Stewardship, Software) remote based in UK. This role plays a key part in shaping UL Solutions’ commercial success in the Product Stewardship software portfolio by driving strategic enterprise engagement, delivering high value regulatory solutions, and expanding our presence across the chemical manufacturing ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Bring strong Product Stewardship and regulatory domain expertise including SDS authoring processes, chemical inventory management, GHS/CLP classification, REACH/SVHC, TSCA, and HazCom obligations, to establish credibility with EHS, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Stewardship stakeholders. Generate and develop enterprise sales pipeline through consistent multi-channel outbound prospecting (cold calls, structured outreach sequences, targeted email campaigns), engagement with EHS/Regulatory leaders, LinkedIn/InMail activity, attendance at chemical compliance events, and expansion within existing chemical manufacturing and formulation accounts. Qualify and assess customer challenges by identifying fragmented SDS authoring, inconsistent chemical data sources, manual classification workflows, and regulatory exposure; articulate these challenges in terms of operational risk, compliance impact, and business value. Lead structured discovery and scoping engagements to map chemical approval workflows, SDS/label creation processes, regulatory review cycles, and cross-functional data dependencies; build clear value hypotheses and quantified ROI models tied to efficiency and compliance outcomes. Orchestrate tailored solution evaluations by partnering with Solutions Consulting, Product, and Regulatory SMEs to ensure demonstrations align to customer objectives across automated SDS authoring, global regulatory updates, hazardous substance tracking, SCIP/BOM checks, and ERP/PLM integrations. Manage the full enterprise commercial cycle by building multi-threaded stakeholder alignment, guiding customers through evaluation and procurement, developing proposals, negotiating terms, maintaining accurate forecasts, and executing disciplined closing plans for high-value Product Stewardship deals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 6+ years of successful B2B enterprise sales experience, ideally in complex software or regulatory-driven environments. Strong understanding of Product Stewardship, EHS, or Regulatory workflows, including SDS management, chemical compliance, and global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GHS/CLP, REACH, TSCA, HazCom). Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders across EHS, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Stewardship organizations. Proven enterprise sales skills, including pipeline generation through outbound prospecting, account expansion, and multi‑stakeholder deal management. Ability to translate complex regulatory and data challenges into clear business value, compliance impact, and ROI-driven use cases. Experience leading structured discovery sessions and collaborating with Solutions Consultants and Product teams to deliver tailored, value‑based demonstrations. Fluency in English required; proficiency in German and/or Spanish strongly preferred.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
