Senior Sales Executive – UK Region (Temporary Employment via Finastra)
Disclaimer
As part of the transition following the sale by Finastra of the Teciem business, we are supporting Teciem on a temporary basis by managing the end-to-end recruitment process for this position, including advertising, candidate outreach, interviews, and selection. The successful candidate will be employed within the Teciem business but managed through Finastra during the hiring process. The role will be executed solely for Teciem post-appointment.

The Role: Senior Sales Executive (UK)
Responsibilities & Deliverables
As Senior Sales Executive, you will generate revenue by acquiring new clients in assigned territories. Your focus will be:
- Developing and executing a structured sales strategy for the UK region
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets with accurate forecasting
- Building pipeline through:
- Outbound prospecting
- Network leveraging
- Targeted outreach campaigns
- Translating complex client pain points into compelling, high-value propositions
- End-to-end deal ownership: land, nurture, and close
- Engaging senior stakeholders and influencing board-level decision-making
- Collaborating cross-functionally to tailor winning propositions
- Maintaining disciplined CRM hygiene for reporting and forecasting
Key Requirements
We are looking for:
- A goal-oriented individual with a structured mindset and a university degree
- 10–15 years’ experience in complex enterprise software sales (preferably treasury/capital markets/banking)
- A hunter profile with a proven track record in new business acquisition
- Proactive pipeline builder (not transactional)
- "Hunter DNA" – drive results rather than wait for opportunities
- Strong network within UK financial services
- Expertise selling into ** treasury, capital markets, or banking** functions
- Credibility and gravitas at senior and C-level
- High drive, urgency, grit, and accountability
- Qualification discipline – strategic focus on high-probability opportunities
