Senior Sales Lead – Data & AI Solutions
Location: Flexible hybrid working, with some London/client presence
Package: Up to £120,000 base salary + £50,000 OTE sales incentive, overachievement capped at £100,000 + £6,600 car allowance + benefits
Focus: Data, AI, agentic AI, virtual agents, workflow automation, public sector and enterprise markets
An established UK digital transformation and technology services business is scaling a new practice-led sales function and is looking to appoint a senior Data & AI Sales Lead.
This is a high-profile opportunity to join a business that has invested significantly in specialist technology practices and is now taking a more focused, solutions-led approach to market. Data and AI are central to this growth strategy.
The role is focused on data-led solutions and practical, human-centred AI use cases. This is not a pure robotics or RPA sales role. The emphasis is on agentic AI, virtual agents, workflow automation, AI-enabled service transformation and helping clients move from early AI roadmaps into practical pilots and scalable programmes.
The business has strong delivery capability, established client relationships and sector credibility across areas such as public sector, financial services, utilities and telecoms. It is now looking for a commercially strong seller who can open senior conversations, shape AI narratives and work with internal and partner capability to create credible, deliverable solutions.
This would suit someone who is excited by the AI market but grounded enough to sell what can actually be delivered. The successful candidate will need to cut through hype, understand client challenges and build trust through pragmatic, outcome-led conversations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
