Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is a luxury hotel steeped in history, located just moments from Covent Garden and around the corner from Trafalgar Square in the heart of Westminster.

The hotel features 151 guestrooms and suites and blends historic character with contemporary design. Dining and bar experiences include Ekstedt at The Yard, a Scandinavian inspired restaurant celebrating open fire cooking, creative cocktails at the 40 Elephants Bar, an extensive whisky selection at Sibin, and Afternoon Tea in The Parlour.

Colleagues work in a distinctive and characterful environment delivering thoughtful and memorable service to guests exploring the culture, history and landmarks of central London.

Duties and responsibilities related to the Senior Sales Manager – Corporate & Diplomatic role

As Senior Sales Manager – Corporate & Diplomatic, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue across one of London's most distinctive luxury hotels. Focusing on corporate, diplomatic and new business development, you will cultivate influential relationships and position Great Scotland Yard as the preferred destination for multinational corporations, embassies, high commissions, international organisations and discerning business travellers.

You will manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while proactively identifying new business opportunities across the UK and international markets. From negotiating preferred rate agreements and securing long term partnerships to conducting client meetings, hosting bespoke site inspections and representing the hotel at networking events and industry exhibitions, you will showcase the unique character, heritage and luxury experiences that define Great Scotland Yard.

Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will develop strategic sales plans, maximise account performance and identify opportunities to grow market share across transient, group and event business. By using market insight, industry knowledge and Hyatt's commercial tools, you will deliver exceptional commercial results while ensuring every client interaction reflects the standards of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

About You

You are an experienced sales professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and a proven ability to build meaningful relationships within the corporate and diplomatic sectors. You understand the expectations of high profile clients and know how to create tailored commercial solutions that deliver value while showcasing an exceptional luxury experience.

With experience in a premium or luxury hotel environment, you have a successful track record of winning new business, developing strategic accounts and negotiating commercial agreements. You are confident engaging with senior decision makers, representing your hotel at networking events and industry functions, and building lasting partnerships that generate long term revenue.

Above all, you are commercially driven, proactive and relationship focused. You combine excellent communication and organisational skills with strong market awareness and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality. You thrive in a fast paced environment and take pride in representing one of London's most iconic and characterful luxury hotels.
