Job Opportunity: Senior Sales Manager
Alchem Partners are excited to be engaged as the search partner to a growing chemical manufacturing and distribution business. Specialising in the contract manufacturing, blending, and packaging of various chemical products. Across their COMAH regulated sites they ensure that quality, customer centricity, and service are of absolute importance.
Due to an exciting growth strategy, our client is seeking to appoint a Senior Sales Manager to join an existing sales team here in the UK.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will drive growth in the UK through new and existing business pipelines, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and margin within current accounts. They will also coach and mentor the sales team, ensuring colleagues have the tools and support needed to achieve their targets.

Required Experience
- Proven sales experience and success within the chemical manufacturing/distribution markets.
- Ideally hold a scientific degree and/or have a strong technical understanding.
- Experienced in solution-based selling.
- Ability to identify new business and margin growth opportunities.
- Can identify opportunities and implement strategies to deliver results.
- Experience of CRM and MS Office IT systems.
- Experienced in coaching and mentoring staff.
- Well organized and able to implement new processes.
- Able to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as customer service and the senior leadership team.
- A proven performer who can deliver results.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of c£70,000pa - £80,000pa, car/allowance, bonus, and benefits.
Job Details
This is a remote position based here in the UK with expected travel as and when required to customer and company sites.
