Your Team

This role sits within our Corporate Partnerships team. Our primary objective is to drive subscription volume and revenue by selling strategic B2B and B2B2C subscription partnerships to organisations and corporations. We position the Times’ subscription products as high-value benefits for our partners to use within their own customer and employee loyalty and retention programs. We are a collaborative team of five, supported by an Operations & Account Manager and central legal, analytics, tech, and finance teams.

Your Role

As our Senior Sales Manager, you will lead outbound sales efforts to drive significant growth for our iconic subscription brands. You will be a pivotal leader within the team, managing and developing two Sales Executives to reach their full potential while working closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to evolve our go-to-market strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape high-value partnerships and represent world-class journalism to major corporate entities.

Day to Day You Will

  • Lead outbound sales activities to drive corporate partnership subscription volume and revenue growth.
  • Manage and develop the sales team to ensure individual and collective success against key targets.
  • Guide opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting and pitching to final contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to refine our value proposition and strategic approach.
  • Partner with the Operations & Account Manager to provide exceptional client account management and service delivery.
  • Connect with wider Times Media commercial teams to identify and unlock new partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as legal, finance, and product to finalise complex commercial agreements.

What we're looking for from you

  • Experience in subscription sales or partnerships within media or publishing, showcasing a history of successful outbound sales.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring small sales teams, with a focus on developing talent and setting clear objectives.
  • Mastery of creating high-quality pitch documents and presentations that resonate with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships both internally and with external clients.
  • Skilled negotiator with a firm grasp of commercial models and legal terms to help finalise robust contracts.
  • Proficiency in preparing performance reports that provide clear insights to senior management.
  • Proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to remain resilient and organised when working towards deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
