Job Summary

As the Senior Sales Manager for our Data Services portfolio, you will lead a high-performing team of sales specialists across EMEA and APJ. You will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution to achieve Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) target for our Observability and Cyber Resilience solutions. This is a strategic leadership role focused on developing your team, fostering a culture of success, and accelerating the adoption of NetApp's innovative data services within large enterprise accounts. Your guidance will be critical in helping customers modernize their data management and protection strategies, enabling them to solve complex business challenges through our cutting-edge hybrid cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed sales team of 10 specialists in the EMEA and APJ regions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed the $50M+ ARR target.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, deliver accurate revenue forecasts, and ensure disciplined sales execution across the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, providing coaching and professional development for your team members.
  • Oversee the development and execution of territory plans to drive growth in enterprise accounts.
  • Guide the team in using a consultative, solution-selling approach to identify and solve customer challenges.
  • Engage directly with key customer executives and participate in strategic deal negotiations for large, complex opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain executive relationships with key partners, including hyperscalers and channel partners, to drive co-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with NetApp account teams and partner managers to create and execute joint go-to-market strategies that expand our footprint in key accounts.
  • Act as the primary liaison between your sales team and internal departments, including Sales Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and Marketing.
  • Champion the needs of your team and customers, ensuring seamless cross-functional support to close deals and ensure customer success.

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, with a significant portion in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to meet or exceed multi-million dollar revenue targets, preferably in a SaaS or recurring revenue model.
  • Strong domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: data protection, cyber resilience, cloud infrastructure, or observability.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate large-scale enterprise agreements.
  • Experience leading teams across multiple regions and cultivating a strong, remote-first culture.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
