Senior Sales Manager - Enterprise Payments & Cards Issuing / Processing - Nordics
Location: Sweden preferred (Stockholm). Also open to selected European hubs such as London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, where the candidate has credible Nordics banking coverage.
Seniority: Senior Individual Contributor - Enterprise Payments and Cards Issuing & Processing / CMS
Client: Confidential Global Banking and Payments Technology Leader | Strategic Nordics Growth Mandate
Why This Role Matters
This is a high-visibility senior new-business sales mandate across the Nordics for one of the world's most established banking and payments technology organisations.
The client has a deep platform position across banking infrastructure, Enterprise Payments, issuer processing and Cards Issuing & Processing / CMS. The mandate is aligned to a materially strengthened payments growth agenda and requires a senior commercial hunter who can originate, shape and close strategic platform opportunities with banks and financial institutions across the Nordic region.
This is not a maintenance, farming or general account-management position. It is a front-line revenue role with direct responsibility for new logo growth, complex deal creation and senior banking engagement.
Why Now
The Nordics remain one of Europe's most sophisticated banking and payments markets, with continued investment across real-time payments, ISO 20022, high-value payments, cross-border payments, card issuing modernisation, processing resilience, CMS platform renewal and payments infrastructure simplification.
The role sits at the intersection of these themes and offers the successful candidate the opportunity to lead strategic commercial conversations with banks that are reassessing payment architectures, card infrastructure and long-term platform partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
