About The Role
You will play a key role in driving the growth of our business. You will acquire new customers, strategically advise existing industrial clients, and sell solutions that deliver measurable improvements to production and planning processes. Working closely with our subject matter experts and product team, you will manage the entire sales cycle: from lead qualification and proposal development through to successful contract negotiations and closing deals - positioning Germanedge as a trusted partner for the connected, AI-powered manufacturing of the future.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive the sales of our Supply Chain Planning solutions.
- Acquire new industrial customers nationally and internationally while strategically expanding existing customer relationships.
- Analyze end-to-end supply chains and identify optimization opportunities across demand planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and production planning.
- Facilitate discovery workshops with stakeholders from Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Planning to develop concrete customer use cases.
- Translate business requirements into scalable planning solutions in close collaboration with our PreSales and Consulting teams.
- Manage the entire sales cycle—from opportunity qualification and business case development to proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, and successful contract closure.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers on forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), detailed scheduling, and scenario simulation.
- Monitor market trends in Supply Chain Planning and digital manufacturing while contributing ideas to further develop our portfolio.

Your Profile
- Have several years of experience in the sales or consulting of Supply Chain Planning solutions (e.g. Demand Planning, S&OP, APS, Supply Chain Planning, or similar).
- Have a strong understanding of industrial planning processes, including forecasting, production planning, inventory optimization, and capacity planning.
- Have proven experience in solution selling of complex, consultative software solutions.
- Build strong relationships both online and offline and enjoy expanding your professional network through social selling.
- Proactively engage with decision-makers and feel comfortable picking up the phone to initiate new business conversations.
- Embrace new technologies and modern ways of working, particularly AI-powered tools, using them to increase sales effectiveness and gain deeper customer insights.
- Excel in collaboration, presentation, and negotiation.
- Build trusted relationships with customers at every organizational level through an open, professional, and consultative approach.
- Be willing to travel and possess business-fluent English and good German language skills.
