Senior Sales Operations Analyst
Sales Operations & Data Insight | Senior Associate
At Kainos, we’re looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to turn sales data into clear, actionable insight that helps our sales teams and leadership make better decisions. In this role, you will work closely with sales leadership, finance and operational stakeholders to deliver reporting, analysis and process improvement that strengthens performance, data quality and business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality sales reporting, commentary and analysis for weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Turn complex sales and pipeline data into clear insights, trends and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Support the improvement of CRM data quality, governance and KPI definitions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate manual tasks and improve sales operations processes.
- Partner with colleagues across Sales, Finance and Operations to support forecasting, performance tracking and decision-making.
- Maintain and improve guidance, tools and documentation so users can work more effectively and consistently.
- Manage Sales Order backlog

Essential Requirements
- Experience using data to identify business opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot trends, risks and missed opportunities in data.
- Experience of working with CRM systems as a trusted source of customer and sales information.
- Ability to review and improve data models, KPI calculations and reporting outputs.
- Experience in developing, using or interpreting Power BI dashboards.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with sales and performance data.
- Experience producing reporting, data quality outputs, dashboards or visualisations.
- A passion for data-led decision-making, efficiency and best practice.
Desirable
- Experience in sales operations, commercial reporting or business insight roles.
- Knowledge of standard AI tools; Copilot Cowork, Copilot for Sales

You are confident working with data, comfortable challenging constructively, and able to communicate clearly without jargon.
