About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Performance Analyst to partner with our Senior Management teams as a data-driven strategic advisor. This is a high-impact, autonomous role suited for an experienced professional excelling in translating complex data into actionable insights—balancing quota attainment trends, revenue forecasting, and cross-functional commercial strategy.

The position is structured as part-time (flexible), ideal for candidates with substantial experience delivering in dispersed teams and driving outcomes remotely.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Reporting & Insights

  • Collaborate with Rev Ops and senior commercial managers to provide executive-level visibility into:
    • Quota attainment, pipeline health, and win/loss trends.
    • Uncover the "why" behind performance metrics—beyond surface-level insights.
  • Extract actionable learnings from multi-source data to inform long-term commercial strategy.

Sales Leadership Liaison

  • Primary analytical point of contact for global Sales Leadership, presenting data-driven recommendations that shape:
    • Territory planning, pricing strategies, and incentivisation schemes.
    • Decisions at the Sales VP, Commercial MD, or C-level level.

Remote Collaboration & Networking

  • Foster strategic relationships across a distributed-first workforce (Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance, Product, Customer & Partner Experience), ensuring alignment on revenue data. Work to establish a single source of truth.

Advanced Data Analysis

  • Model complex, multi-dimensional datasets to identify correlations between:
    • Business activities (e.g., campaigns, territories) and sustained revenue growth.

  • Lead refinement of sales forecasting models in partnership with FP&A, bridging:
    • Sales optimism and realistic financial forecasts.
    • Provide a common data language across stakeholders, advocating for informed decision-making.

CRM Governance & Automation

  • Oversee the integrity of Salesforce data, delivering architectural insights to:
    • Automate manual reporting—reducing administration burdens.
    • Enhance the sales user experience with intuitive analytical tools.

Ad-Hoc Strategic Projects

  • Incrementally build unbiased deep dives for critical business initiatives, including:
    • New market entries
    • Time-sensitive price adjustments
    • Bespoke compensation plan modeling

Qualifications

Experience & Impact

  • 5+ years in Sales Operations or Commercial Finance, with a proven track record in performance analysis.
  • Direct experience managing and dissecting for CD-level stakeholders (e.g., Sales VP, MD).

Soft Skills & Cultural Fit

  • Remote-exchange capability: Strong negotiation and influence skills to shape global consensus in international/hybrid workspaces.
  • Highly autonomous and accustomed to working at peak efficiency with minimal instruction.

Technical Toolkit

Required:

  • Excel (proficient) and Google Suite—integration expertise between both platforms.
  • Salesforce proficiency.

  • Advanced BI tools (Tableau**, Power BI, **or comparable).
  • Practical experience with Spark SQL on Databricks.

Commercial & Financial Acumen

  • Financial naivete approach to P&Ls and balance sheets—bridging analytical perspectives with operational realities.
