Role: [CPQ Solution Architect – Manager]
Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions across CRM and quote-to-cash platforms.
- Provide domain leadership for CPQ workflows, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, and downstream revenue processes.
- Collaborate with business partners and project teams to define CRM-engineering-aligned solutions and steer enterprise architecture direction.
- Evaluate CPQ, CRM, and quote-to-cash technology options to inform future-state architecture decisions.
- Assess the current Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ landscape, then define transition options for the agreed future-state CPQ architecture.
- Offer technical solution leadership, including:
- Hands-on CPQ configuration and validation of design options.
- Integration design and prototyping.
- Guidance on CPQ platform assessment, migration strategy, and target-state design governance.
- Produce solution architecture artefacts and present designs in architecture review boards.
- Clarify complex technical matters accessibility for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements & Experience
Industry & Role Knowledge
- 8+ years in solution architecture across CRM, CPQ, and quote-to-cash domains.
- 5+ years of CPQ architecture experience, specialising in enterprise-grade CPQ platforms.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ—or equivalent experience with Agentsforce Revenue Cloud, ServiceNow CPQ / SOM, Logik.ai, Apttus/Conga CPQ, or Oracle CPQ.
Technical Proficiency
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end quote-to-cash journey, including:
- Product cataloguing.
- Configuration, pricing, and approval workflows.
- Contracting, fulfilment, and revenue hand-offs.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable CPQ solutions, leveraging native platform capabilities with extensions or integrations where necessary.
- Hands-on experience desired with:
- Salesforce CPQ configuration topics like Lightning, Apex, APIs, and Salesforce integrations.
- ServiceNow equivalence including CPQ/SOM configuration, Flow Designer, scripting, and IntegrationHub.
- Priority for experience transforming CPQ processes, platform evaluations, migration planning, or target-state solution design.
