Senior Scala Developer
Software Developer — Full-Stack/Backend (Scala Focus)

Job Description

As part of this role, you will:
- Support the full life cycle of software development
- Collaborate on good plans—from design and development to ensuring high-quality end products for clients
- Work across full-stack or backend systems, including:
- Front-end, back-end, and integrations
- Workflow planning & process optimisation
- Customer-facing feature implementations
- Solution design & analysis

You’ll be exposed to a broad tech stack, including: Scala, .NET, C#, Java, Salesforce, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Sitecore, ReactJS, Angular, Docker, Azure, Azure DevOps, and Octopus.
Each project assigns a lead manager responsible for delivery, giving you opportunities to learn and grow under expert supervision.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- System development (front-end, back-end, integrations)
- Workflow planning & process optimisation
- Quality assurance and refinements
- Implementing customer requirements for new features
- Daily team collaboration & lifecycle delivery
Essential Qualifications
- +4 years of experience in the IT industry
- Full-stack or backend expertise, with strong Scala knowledge
- Curiosity for exploring new technologies
- Full experience in the software development lifecycle
- Hands-on coding ability
- Experience delivering major IT solutions
- (Ideally) Project mentoring & team-leading experience
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools
- High ambition to excelling in your career
