Job Advertisement: Senior Scientist - Mass Spectrometry

Overview

We are hiring a senior scientist with expertise in advanced mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS) to join our growing team.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize methods using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS.
  • Handle complex sample types (e.g., lipids, oils, botanical materials).
  • Contribute to method validation under ICH and GMP guidelines.
  • Ensure analytical quality and data integrity.
  • Act as a technical specialist in mass spectrometry and troubleshoot challenges.
  • Support laboratory processes and improve best practices.
  • Build proficiency in GMP requirements over time.

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS.
