Job Advertisement: Senior Scientist - Mass Spectrometry
Overview
We are hiring a senior scientist with expertise in advanced mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS) to join our growing team.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize methods using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS.
- Handle complex sample types (e.g., lipids, oils, botanical materials).
- Contribute to method validation under ICH and GMP guidelines.
- Ensure analytical quality and data integrity.
- Act as a technical specialist in mass spectrometry and troubleshoot challenges.
- Support laboratory processes and improve best practices.
- Build proficiency in GMP requirements over time.

Qualifications
- BSc/MSc/PhD in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS or GC-MS/MS.
- Proven expertise in method development and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with analyzing complex matrices.
- Commitment to high analytical standards.
