The Role
The role of the SDR at Powtoon is to support Enterprise Account Executives with targeted outreach with the goal of securing qualified sales meetings & new business pipeline.
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our expanding sales team based in Central London.
Objectives
The Sales Development Team has two objectives:
- Develop more sales/revenue for the company by creating and qualifying a legitimate pipeline
- Develop into high-quality future Account Executives
Responsibilities
- Identify and Prospect potential customers (outbound), interact with them through phone calls, email and LinkedIn until they are fully qualified and ready for a sales meeting
- Multi-thread into global organisations, discovering how we solve different problems for different stakeholders within the same company. Pull this altogether in a series of sales meetings for the AE
- Be accountable for the pipeline that is created from the meetings you book. We want you to remain invested in the prospect through the sales cycle
- Maintain and manage a high volume of daily activity
- Work together with sales and marketing to align with the company's goals
- Achieve & exceed targets and goals set

Requirements
- Native-level English speaker - MUST
- 1+ years of SDR experience in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS startup environment, ideally within an enterprise sales motion
- AI-first mindset - comfortable leveraging AI tools and approaches in your sales process
- Curious, coachable, and a strong storyteller
- High energy, positive attitude
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Familiarity or willingness to learn tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Powtoon
- Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly goals
- Willingness to work US hours at least 2 days/week
- Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed
