Your new role
As our Information Security Senior Analyst, you will be a core member of our Group Information Security team, working closely with the Security Operations Lead and across the broader security function. You will act as a senior security partner to stakeholders and internal Technology teams across Digital Science, embedding security into initiatives, programmes and projects through early engagement and risk-based advice.

In this role, you will work closely with the Security Operations Lead and alongside our Technology, Legal, and Operations teams, with contact across all functional units within Digital Science. - Review and challenge proposed technology solutions and architectural designs, offering authoritative guidance to continuously raise the security maturity of our infrastructure teams.
- Champion secure AI adoption by evaluating the data and security risks of emerging AI tools and workflows, ensuring they are deployed responsibly across the organization.
- Drive incident response and vulnerability management initiatives, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery efforts to safeguard business continuity.
- Interrogate security data from across our global environment to surface trends, identify systemic weaknesses, and flag emerging threats before they materialize into incidents.
- Optimize and manage core security technologies—including GRC reporting and threat detection platforms—to turn external threat intelligence into actionable defense strategies.
- Own and deliver key strategic TechSec workstreams from initiation to completion, ensuring strong governance and transparent stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
