Senior Security Analyst
Work from home (quarterly travel to Leeds) | c.£58,620 total package | 4 on / 4 off
The opportunity:
We're hiring eight Senior Security Analysts for one of the UK's most established technology solutions partners — a 500+ person UK business, part of a global group spanning 11+ countries, with a serious reputation in managed security services. You'd be joining a small, senior team providing 24/7 security coverage for a regulated client. This is a genuinely senior remit: you'll own incidents end to end rather than escalating after triage, and you'll spend the time between incidents doing real proactive security work — threat hunting, vulnerability scanning, and breach and attack simulation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
