Senior Security Consultant
Are you a Senior Security Consultant looking for an exciting new challenge?
Buro Happold is looking for a Senior Security Engineer with experience in the Built Environment, looking for an opportunity to pursue industry-leading designs within a vibrant multi-disciplinary practice.
Key Duties:
- Assessing threats, vulnerabilities, and risk to produce risk registers.
- Developing security strategies to statutory requirements.
- Producing new design concepts whilst keeping abreast of emerging threats and trends.
- Providing high-level advice to clients in relation to the appropriate security technologies in security.
- Developing and delivering testing programmes and exercises to assure security programme integrity.
- Supporting and mentoring graduate security consultants.
- Researching and writing standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions for security operations.
- Researching and writing protective security intelligence reports and assessments.
Skills & Experience:
- A Qualification in Security and Risk Management or Crime & Criminology or related subjects.
- Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant institution.
- Membership of the Security Institute (SyI), Association of Security Consultants (ASC) or International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC).
- Experience of developing security strategies on a range of projects.
- Experience of assessing security risks across a variety of projects, sectors, and geographic locations.
- Willingness to undergo a security vetting if required by projects.
