Senior Security Specialist – Permanent – Glasgow (Hybrid) - £70k
Change Digital are seeking a Senior Security Specialist to join our clients Information Security team and help strengthen cyber defence capabilities across a global environment.
Working closely with IT teams, stakeholders and third-party partners, you will play a key role in threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response and the ongoing development of security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor endpoint security tools and vulnerability management processes.
- Investigate, triage and respond to security incidents and cyber threats.
- Conduct threat hunting using SIEM and EDR technologies.
- Support penetration testing and remediation activities.
- Develop and improve incident response plans and security procedures.
- Produce security metrics, reports and risk assessments.
- Contribute to cyber security strategy, standards and operational improvements.

About You
You'll have:
- Experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations or Information Security.
- Strong knowledge of threat management, incident response and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR and security monitoring tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+ or equivalent would be advantageous.
