Salary & Position
Salary: £46,000–£62,000 (depending on experience and level offered).
Responsibilities
- Protecting People & Assets: Ensure the safety of FedEx employees, assets, and customers by implementing security awareness, loss prevention, contingency programs, and investigations.
- Policy Development: Assist in designing, reviewing, and improving security policies and procedures to adapt to evolving circumstances.
- Risk Management: Use advanced security systems, conduct security audits, and perform investigations to minimise preventable risks.
- Customer Trust: Work closely with customers to build and maintain confidence in FedEx’s security protocols.
- Incident Handling: Lead investigations into security breaches, develop recommendations, and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary, preparing detailed incident reports.
- Corrective Actions: Identify weaknesses in processes and propose improvements.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver security training programs to foster employee compliance with company policies.
- Crisis Management: Maintain and activate emergency response plans, ready to coordinate during crises and high-stakes situations.

What You’ll Bring
- Deep expertise in security systems, techniques, and regulations.
- Proven experience in law enforcement or commercial/logistics security environments.
- Experience in security risk assessments and analysis.
- Exceptional investigation skills, including conducting interviews.
- Background in intelligence or information handling.
- Strong research, evaluation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Broad PC Skills (e.g., MS Office Suite).
