Senior Segment Marketing Manager
Office location with Hybrid working: Hammersmith, London
About The Role And The Team
The Senior Segment Marketing Manager (New Build) leads the marketing strategy for one of Hyperoptic's most successful and strategically important growth segments. You'll be responsible for developing insight-led marketing strategies that drive subscriber growth, maximise penetration and bring to life one of Hyperoptic's most compelling propositions - fibre broadband ready from day one, with a pre-installed router enabling customers to get online as soon as they move into their new home.
Working across Brand, CRM, Digital, Sales, Property and Commercial teams, you'll create compelling customer experiences throughout the home-buying journey, whilst collaborating with property developers to identify new growth opportunities and maximise Hyperoptic's presence within sales and marketing suites.
As the marketing lead for the New Build segment, you'll champion the voice of the customer across the business, ensuring customer insight and marketing priorities are represented in cross-functional discussions and senior forums. You'll build strong relationships across teams, influence decision-making and help shape initiatives that deliver exceptional customer experiences and commercial growth.
This is a varied role for a marketer who loves combining creativity with commercial thinking. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable developing strategy, writing campaign briefs and rolling up their sleeves to deliver outstanding marketing.
What will you be doing?
- Become the marketing expert for the New Build customer, understanding their needs and the home-buying journey.
- Develop insight-led go-to-market strategies and campaigns that bring Hyperoptic's unique Day One Connectivity proposition to life.
- Create compelling customer experiences across every touchpoint, from sales and marketing suites through to move-in communications.
- Build strong relationships with property developers and internal stakeholders to identify new marketing and growth opportunities.
- Inspire and lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive subscriber growth.
- Own the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimisation of cross-channel marketing campaigns.
- Develop and deliver quarterly marketing plans with a strong focus on high-impact offline and integrated campaigns.
- Forecast acquisition, renewals, churn, and subscriber performance to support commercial decision-making.
- Define the most effective go-to-market strategies to maximise customer acquisition, penetration, and lifetime value.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are delivered seamlessly and achieve maximum ROI.
- Lead virtual teams, providing clear direction and influencing stakeholders to deliver against shared objectives.
- Champion a culture of testing, experimentation, and continuous optimisation, using data and performance insights to improve campaign effectiveness.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
