Job Description
This role focuses on supporting the SEO Site Manager in managing and optimising the SEO channel. Collaborating with the wider digital marketing team, you will enhance organic performance for a Frasers Group website.
Key Responsibilities
- Make and implement recommendations to improve SEO channel performance and rankings
- Propose changes to website architecture, content, internal linking, and other factors to boost SEO rankings for target keywords
- Collaborate with the content writer to embed SEO best practices in content creation, optimising category pages, landing pages, FAQs, and buying guides
- Conduct technical SEO audits using tools like Botify and ScreamingFrog, identifying issues affecting SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages)
- Rectify any found issues to minimise negative SEO impact
- Utilise SEMrush and PI-datametrics to identify opportunities and provide insights for performance improvement
- Assist with link-building strategies and perform backlink audits

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role (in-house or agency)
- Familiarity with keyword research, strategy development, daily optimisation, and in-depth analysis
- Ability to confidently report key performance metrics to managers
- Strong ability to work to tight deadlines and manage high-priority requests
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects while keeping track of deadlines
- Passion for SEO and online marketing – a genuine interest in the field
- Experience with content marketing and social campaigns
- Proactive approach to continuously improve quality of service
- Willingness to take the initiative, suggest new approaches, and contribute to a supportive learning environment
- High integrity in all actions, and alignment with values for personal and professional growth
