Job Description: Senior SEO Manager

ASOS is looking for a highly skilled, commercially-focused Senior SEO Manager to own and lead SEO and GEO content strategy for our global web estate. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving on-site optimisations across 10 languages for maximum visibility and revenue growth
  • Supporting teams across the business and our external agency in ecommerce strategy
  • Future-proofing SEO and AI-driven search experiences as they evolve from traditional rankings to generative discovery

Your role will focus on constant discovery. Leveraging SEO experiments to identify and act on growth opportunities, you’ll shape strategy, drive results, and ensure visibility across all surfaces—search rankings, social discovery, recommendation engines, and more.

You will:

  • Define and align our SEO & GEO content strategy with commercial objectives and seasonal trading calendars
  • Stay ahead of algorithm developments, AI-driven changes, and competitor trends—diagnosing issues and adjusting strategies
  • Lead end-to-end SEO projects, from briefing and production to localisation and performance reviews
  • Apply EEAT best practices (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) to refine content quality and editorial standards
  • Design and execute SEO A/B and multivariate tests (across content, templates, metadata, on-site elements)
  • Deliver data-driven decisions with evidence-backed insights
  • Conduct keyword research and gap analysis, uncovering growth potential across categories, markets and AI discovery
  • Partner with the SEO Product team to integrate content intelligence into roadmaps
  • Define and track KPIs (keyword ranking growth, organic traffic, content coverage, traffic and organic revenue)
  • Build dashboards and reports tailored for both operational teams and executive stakeholders
  • Act as an SEO authority across editorial, marketing, retail, and trading teams—surfacing trends to inform decision-making
  • Maximise organic visibility during key campaigns and trading events, collaborating with brand and creative teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
